June Faves, featuring Sleek, Bourjois & More!

Most are newbies which is exciting! :D

First up: Bourjois Bronzing Primer. I bought this on a whim in Boots with my points as it looked so pretty and I didn't fancy the BB Cream thing they also had. So, at only £4.99 I decided to pick it up. WOW I AM SO PLEASED I DID. I LOVE this. It's so fantastic at contouring, making your face all bronzey and is so easy to blend out to a very natural tan. If you accidentally take too much it can be easily blended back down to a really natural looking bronze. It's so gorgeous, I am so madly in love with it. It says it has an addictive scent (of coconuts) but I wouldn't agree with that-It's pleasant but not addictive (like a MAC lippie for example :P). You can easily use it with your fingers or Real Techniques' Countour Brush (S'up to you :)). This product is making me seriously consider buying all the other stuff in the range too :')

Bourjois Bronzing Primer <3
Next: Bourjois Max Volume Glamour Blue Mini Mascara. They released a few colours (blue, green, blue & purple) and Boots only had one blue one left when I got there! and I so wish they had all of the others as the blue is so gorgeously pigmented. PLUS It's a truly fantastic mascara-fanning out my lashes, giving them a great length :') Wow I love it ever so :D I just wish it was more sunny so I didn't look as strange but they do brighten up my eyes (even with black liquid liner) :).

Sleek Pout Paint: Lolipop-from the Candy Collection. I have never actually tried a sleek pout paint, so when they had this and the blush by 3 from the collection (but no palettes in stock D:!!!) I thought well, no palette, might as well get the lip paint. Firstly. This is the most fantastic pigment I have ever had out of a lip product. It was beautifully opaque and lasts ageeesss! It doesn't dry out the lips and does have an almost gloss finish to it (but this maybe because it is so thick).

Sleek's Lolipop Pout Paint on my lips & all 3 of the blush by
3 Candy Colours on my cheeks :') also wearing Sleek's Primer Palette
colours in Pink Frost on my eyes with a thick gel liner from collection
Sleek Primer Palette: Really nice soft, shimmerey colours that can be built into quite a colour block. They do crease without use of a good base/shadow on top so I quite like to use a neutral color tatoo or paint pot just lightly blended out over my lid as a base. The consistency is nice though & they are very true to the colour they are in the pot (the swatches didn't come out very strongly as I didn't really pick up much product-but this shows they can be blended out nicely).

Eyelash Curler (Tweezerman for Benefit): I don't know why I EVER STOPPED curling my eyelashes!? WHY? Why did I stop?? I picked up my curlers the other day to help create one of my Vogue Advert looks (post coming soon) and I suddenly remembered how fantastic the results were! Just one small little crimp of these on my lashes and I have beautifully long, featherey, sexy lashes that I would normally take 3 coats of they're real! (Benefit's latest & best ever mascara). This made me try it with my new fave Bourjois Blue Macara and I was so shocked how huge they were! Very, very impressed :')

ELF Shimmering Facial Whip in the shade Spotlight: I bragged and bragged about how much I loved this in my Elf Haul Post (http://tinyurl.com/kgej4wn). I really don't know what else to say....? I am going to buy all the other shades!? I think that's a good testament.

MUA Matte Perfect Primer: I said that this was a new Benefit Porefessional dupe. I meant it. I LOVE this ever so :') I use it almost everyday now. See my MUA Haul post here: http://tinyurl.com/prlb7t8

Did you have any similar June Favourites? Anything here that makes you think I might actually go out and buy that now? Let me know! xxx

Quick Biology Trip to Leeson House :) -Left Today! +52WODN added in :)

So today (I've written this post a week in advance for today and scheduled-cos' I am so organised ;) ) I am off with the Biology Department from College to Leeson House (near Swanage) and fingers crossed the weather's really nice and held out for us! We're going to be carrying out a River Study, A Heath Land Study & a Sand Dune Study. I am not sure about you, but to me-that all sounds pretty GO! haha >.<

Apparently the accomodation is of a very high standard with lounges, games room and coffee bar-woah, when can we move in? haha! But the thing that's really excited me is the food....(of course!) The letter says, and I quote- "The centre provides a cooked breakfast, packed lunch and a 3-course evening meal." Omg, I am so looking forward to that! Especially considering this only cost us £90 for 3 days!

Now moving on to the bit I was really interested in...what we're advised to pack:
Trainers/shoes and wellies, Shirts/Tshirts, Trousers/Shorts, Underwear, Sock, Swimming Costume, Large Towel, Waterproof Coat, Warm hat, Gloves, Suncream, Sunglasses, Lip Salve, Sun Hat, Towel, Washcloth, Toothbrush/Paste, Soap/Shampoo, Hairbrush, Scrunches, pen, paper, book to read-?, disposable camera, notebook, small bag/backpack, water bottle, large plastic bag, bed linen: 2 pillowcases, undercover, sheet, duvet cover.

To be honest. This probably is around the right amount for stuff I would take! As we have no idea what the weather's going to be like/it can change pretty quick down here in the south, so, I kinda agree with the list. Although, I kinda wish we didn't have to take our own bedding :/ BUT at least I know its clean!

So, here's just some pictures of my makeup I've decided on taking (bareminerals and tinted moisturiser kind of took hold here) and pictures of my general other stuff....

My Makeup Bag I've just whacked everything in :D

Flipped over makeup bag :P

Everything I am taking laid out on my Aerosmith towel I am taking!

The LONG list of items and reasons for having them Claire sent out to all of us!
I am pleased with my Large see through makeup bag though! (got this at Superdrug with 2 others inside it and this features in my Barcelona Posts too http://tinyurl.com/lbeusvp :)) It's just so big I can throw pretty much anything in it and it all fits! yippee! :P See y'all when I get back! I have other posts lined up so please check my blog as I may not have the wifi to link them all in on twitter and facebook :)

Now for my 52 weeks of delicious nails bit:

Barcelona! Pt. 2 Makeup, Accessories and What I'll be taking with me!

So here we go for Part 2! I am just gonna jump straight in with Accessories (this includes Jewellery, sunglasses, things like that :P).

Sunglasses & Waterproof Bag :D
I have a lot of different pairs of sunnies but I think that these 3 are all so different they can rise to every style and occasion :) It just so happens that all of these are from Primark, as is the Waterproof Bag-Which I am so in love with!
It's made out of that weird soft jelly material (not like the weird kids' shoes :L) and I simply love the colour and everything, think it'll be great for holding my phone etc in when we go to the beach :)

Various Hair Clips, Necklaces etc.
I think this is, like the sunglasses, a good mix of different styles and finishes. Yes most of it is Pink, but hey! What's wrong with adding touches of pink through your life?? :P

My Rings :)
Here's a close up of the rings I was thinking of taking. I know Ed won't be overly happy of me taking more than one ring (the one we're promised to each other with) but I feel like these aren't fussy nor will they get caught or snag on anything. He should be proud as I normally have MASSIVE rings with me :P

 Now, for some bags...

Seeing as we're only taking Hand Luggage any bags I take need to be able to roll and fit into my carry-on (shown below). I think the Gaga Canvas bag (also from Primark, omg D:) will be easily stored away in my flight bag and also will be able to fit quite a bit in it, if needed!

I was also pondering on taking this Ed Hardy Bag (I can always shove knickers or something in it in my luggage) as I have actually taken this on practically every holiday I go on, it's useful as it's actually made of that cool lunch box type material and therefore you can shove a bottle of water in it and it won't go warm (well...too quickly anyway :P).

Lastly, my (ALSO PRIMARK :L) Rucksack-y type bag. I really like this bag as it's cute, made of very thin material so folds to very small and yet can carry and hold so much! -Love this :P

But, I shall have to discuss all of this with Ed...and I am pretty sure he'll just say the first Gaga bag and pool party clutch thingy... >.<

ONTO MAKEUP! (and a bit of skincare...)
Facial Products
Now, one thing that is hindering me slightly here, is that every has to be less than 100ml-due to us being cheapos and not wanting to pay £60 to put luggage in the hold :P I've decided that Tinted Moisturisers, Good Powders and a strong concealing kit are all I need...plus a bit of colorstay for a hot night out ;)
Pictured above (starting from very top and working clockwise) is Aveda's Mineral Tinted Moisturiser (my most favourite tinted moisturiser EVER!), Benefit's You Rebel-for beachy days only as it has a good SPF and little coverage...any pictures will be from far away and I can always mix a tad bit of colorstay to up the coverage if I need. Next up is Tarte's Amazonian BB Cream I WISH I HAD BOUGHT THE BIG ONE!!! I LOVE this :'( May have to see if I can buy one on eBay before I leave :P, Benefit's Perk Up Artist Mini Concealing Kit is up next! (containing a Bright Eyes, Lemon Aid & Boi-ing), Benefit's Hello Flawless Powder (though I'll probably be preferring my Green People Mineral Foundation Powder...). Revlon Colorstay (for oily skin...of course ;) ), M&S' Tinted Moisturiser (this is actually great!) and lastly, Boots' Skin Clear Range's Mattifying Lotion (no oil is escaping with a splodge of this baby :P).
Next up-COLOUR!
Colour Products
As it's going to be a beachy, night timey kind of holiday-I've decided to embrace the glow and go for softer creams that are highly pigmented. So, here we go (working from Top Left) Ted Baker Lip Balms (recieved as gift at Christmas)-these are actually really nicely pigmented and not overly balmy, I like them a lot. With that is sat a Rimmel Apocolips Lip Laquer (in Stellar) -This is obvs a matte lip colour and I thought that if I wanted to switch it up, this would be bright and bold enough to do it with! After that I have a Jordana lipgloss thingy which is just a gorgeous coral-ey orange, L'oreal Glam Shine lipgloss in "everlasting beige" in case I want a more nude lip and then all the Revlon Lip Butters I own (Cotton Candy , Peach Parfait & Candy Apple-I would buy more but I can't see them being used as I already own soo many different lip products :/). Benefit's Fine One One Cheek Color stick (this is such a gorgeous coral-ey peach colour and just Perfect for the beach :') Then we have a Revlon Photoready Cream Blush thing (not totally sure what they call it, nor the name of the colour) but this is just like a MAC Cream Blush-just a lot cheaper! Then, lastly, a Stila convertible colour in Gladiola (a true, bright orange that is very pigmented and lasts all day-really nice and glowey too...but is quite thick and slightly waxey so be warned!).

Moving onto EYE Products...

EYE-type Products
I've literally dreamt of Silver/Ice coloured bases with SPLASHES of Bright colours over the top! I now also have the Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 (Brights-Not Pictured) and plan on taking that too. Above there's the snapshots palette (left) and the Lagoon palette (right). In the middle I have a Maybelline Color Tattoo in the colour - , Benefit's Foiled Creaseless Cream (yes, it's a mini one!) and MAC's Bare Study Paint Pot as a more nudey base. I then have decided on Benefit's They're Real as the BEST mascara to take as not only can I get intense and dramatic looks out of it-but Waterproof ones too! (they say They're Real is "Water Flexible" but, yah, it's waterproof :P). I then also thought that, LOOK's Flirty Flick Liquid Liner is perfect too! This DOES NOT BUDGE!!! It's crazy! Love It XD. Lastly, I added MUA's Undress me too Palette (when packing) as I thought it's just perfect for shimmerey soft nudes if I feel like doing that one day :D
Everything in Bags :')
All my Clothes that fit in my Suitcase just thrown on my bed! haha, it all fits Thank GOD! :D
So that's it! All packed up and ready to rumble!! I am so excited as there's a massive long list of things to do and places to see! If you didn't see part 1 of this post all my clothes you can here:

I hope the weather's nice while we're away but I can't lie I am soooo looking forward to instant sunshine! Keep an eye out for my posts while I am away (as I don't think I can get to a pc) I have lots of random cool things coming up like a make-up artists' bag I found for under a fiver! A Makeup Storage post and of course, my normal 52WODN post :) xx

Barcelona is only a couple of weeks away and I cannot wait :'D Part 1-Outfits

We (Ed, me, Andy & Annie) are going off to SUNNY Barcelona together for a week in July and I simply, cannot wait. It's going to be so much fun and mostly, SUNNY!
Anyhoo, seeing as I do outfits and makeup plans for special occasions, parties etc. I thought why not do some for our Holiday?! So here are some outfit ideas I've come up with :)

My First Few are beachwears, This is my absolute favourite Bikini, from Primark, I believe the Top was £8 and the Bottoms £4!

They're so gorgeous and look really great on, not gonna lie ;)
I am not totally sure where the hat's from but it looks great with the Bikini :D

My second and Favourite bikini is also from Primark, this one had a slightly cheaper Top again around the £6 mark and the Bottoms were the same at £4 which, for a supportive bra and knickers, isn't that bad!

To the right, this is a cover up I bought from Jane Norman in their most recent sale for £7 and I love it, I really like fringed details and I like how this is quite opaque too :)

This is the second Cover-Up, this ones from Primark too! haha, I know, it seems like everything I own is from there! D: This cover up was only like £6 :)
The necklace is was also from Primark and the camera's annoyed me slightly as it always shows it as orangey when in real life it's more pink :/
I do think this Bikini looks really quite stunning under this cover up though!

This is my absolute Favourite Full Bodied Swim Suit, It's so retro, so pretty, I always wanna have curly hair & BIG sunglasses when I wear it haha! It's just gorgeous and very flattering, though could do with a tad bit more boobage support :L playing volleyball will not happen in this. I got this from a store called Chamile for around £12 but I believe they went into administration a while ago which is a shame as they did nice lingerie and underwear for plus sized girls at affordable prices :(

Then this is my all time most favourite Maxi Dress, it's so me as it is a kind of weird leopard/not leopard print and I simply love wearing this, I feel elegant and can be a little fat in it :P

And this Gorgeous Sunflower Playsuit is from....3 guesses here-Primark! XD (around £9) Along with the long cardigan (around £4) shown in the right which is really nice and lightweight but also warming when needed :3 The belt is off of a River Island Playsuit I have but, tbh, I doubt I'll bother taking the belt with me.

Next up is this sight-seeing and "running around" outfit which I have come up with :P It's very simple and I included a cover up in case we end up staying out quite late and/or I needed to dress more conservatively for the area. The Vest & High wasted Leopard shorts are from Primark and the Cover Up Next door> Is from Monsoon
The picture does not do it justice btw, it is beautifully detailed all down the front :')

This is another sightseeing outfit and tbh, I'll probably choose between this one and the one above to make my luggage more light :)
The High wasted light coloured shorts are from Primark, the Leopard Waterfall vest is from H&M and the Cover up is from India so, I have no idea what brand etc it is :L

Look at the beautiful detailing on it though! It's so gorgeous I wear it all the time when it's hot.

Here's the last out of my sightseeing outfits, Black Vest and Pink Shorts (both from H&M) Don't know that I'll bother with this one as it will be VERY HOT in Barcelona, I burn up easily and therefore I think this would just be asking for trouble. However, it is very cute and I thought worth a mention :P

Now onto some evening outfits. I know Ed and Andy won't want to go out clubbing every night. Neither will Annie for that matter, and so I've come up with some outfits that will suit most places (I think :P) This is the first to suit more relaxed outings, consisting of the same White Vest & cardigan from previous and some Gorgeous Primark Trousers which I absolutely adore :') I got these when I went and did my Superdrug haul (which you can see here: ) for £9 and I love them :')

And here's my Going out for PARTAYING dress ;) did I mention I love fringing? :P

My Summer Sandal-ey Shoes :')

My Summery Going Out Shoes ;)
So I haven't actually chosen what shoes I am going to be taking with me yet, I am pretty sure ed will be the decision maker here, as he does like to take over some times!
Look out for Part 2 of Barcelona Posts, the Makeup, the Hair, the Accessories!

52 Weeks of Delicious Nails, 17.06.13. A Laid Back Nude-ey week before Barcelona Brights!

As the title suggests this week's nails are all laid back and relaxed (whilst still looking tres chic I will add!). This is because I don't want to do too much to my nails before my Barcelona BRIGHTS! I've decided on BRIGHT Nail Wraps of some sorts....not sure what ones yet (decisions, decisions...eh! haha).

So, for the base colour I used Headline Colors nail polish (from my May Glossybox) and for the squiggly lines I used my Paperchase's Nail Art Pen in Black :)

My Left Hand :)

My Right Hand....urgh! IT's always so difficult to photograph it! haha XD
*Random Insert Alert!* Here's a Chibi my friend Evie (the one I went to rocky horror with: http://tinyurl.com/or23ayt) drew of me!

See! I have a lil' duo fibre brush and smokey shadow palette! :P I love it XD Plus my boobs look amazing. ngl ;) x

You can catch Evie's work on her deviant art: ShadowDaChampionPony and her stuff is amazing so I'd definitely recommend looking at it (it is mainly cartooney horses just FYI :D)

So, yeah, that's it for this post! keep an eye out for my posts while I am away (not sure if I'll be able to fb link them y'see :P) and if you haven't yet then LIKE my Facebook Page! (www.facebook.com/Januarybeautyful) xxx

Primani Strikes again, this time.....Make Up..... O.o x

As you all know, I absolutely adore Primark, 90% of my clothes are from there and I do think it's excellent value for money. I used to be a bit of a snob though, and never ventured to try their makeup through thinking 'arghh, it'll probably be crap-for £2 AND it's in Primark'. How WRONG could I have been. My friend Lucy bought me an eyeshadow palette for my Birthday and I have not looked back since!

Here's what they look like, there's a light and dark one (with light and dark packaging, handily!)

So let's start with the Light Palette:
Light Palette, With Flash.
Light Palette, No Flash.

Light Palette Swatches, With Flash.

As you can see the pale pink shade (second from left) is literally the same colour as your eyelid's skin, so, that works nicely to help tame my oily lids!
The bottom row of shadows are ever so richly pigmented and the very first shadow are smooth as butter, very nice to work with and blend :')

Light Palette Swatches, No Flash.
(as you can see it was a horrible overcast day :P)

As you can see the pink shade practically blends into my skin perfectly :') And the (bottom right) raspberry shade just looks so rich and pigmented, I cannot wait to do something awesome with this!
The only shade I am slightly disappointed with is the (top right) grey shade that's not really frosted/not matte, it's somewhere strange in between but isn't as smooth or as rich as the others :(
Dark Palette, With Flash.
Dark Palette, No Flash.
Dark Palette Swatches, With Flash.

I really like all the shadows in this palette apart from one, which happens to be the grey (second from top left) Maybe Primark just can't make a nice pale grey? Don't know :S I am not overly keen on the far right (top) which is also a dark grey (coincidence? :P)
But I do really love the two in the bottom right, they're gorgeously rich and pigmented with an ease to blend.

Dark Palette Swatches, No Flash.

I am not sure about the two blues (bottom left) but we'll see :D
I do, however, really like the purple! No surprises there ;)

Overall, I just cannot get over the quality of these shadows. They're (majority) very blendable and smooth, most are nicely pigmented-some very richly pigmented which is always a nice surprise :)
I think, mainly the sheer value for money here is just astounding, I mean, consumer surplus through the roof here! XD
Did you catch my massive postey review thing on cream eyeshadows and bases? You can here:

I've put in some eye looks below with the shadows I used next to them :) Please note that any creasing is due to my extremely watery eyes-suffering from awful Hayfever at the moment! :'(
Purple from the Dark Palette, all over lid (lightly) with Benefit's
Magic Ink lining upper lashline only.

Nice nude look created with the light palette, no liner.

Silver-ey Grey from light palette, with the brown shadow
lining the top lashline.

Smokey Eye Created with almost all the shadows of the Dark
Palette :) Kohl lining lower lashline.
